Ace Frehley Sink Fast with Anomoly
Ace Frehley Sink Fast with Anomoly
It has been 11 years since Ace Frehley has had a new album, this week Ace released his new album Anomaly and he should not have rushed the album.
Anomaly consists of 12 tracks, or 13 if you get it through iTunes, and the problem is that they all sound the same. You know the album is bad when the instrumental (Space Bear) is the best song on the album.
The song “A Little Below the Angels” sounds like a cheesy PSA spot against alcohol. If you have the iTunes version the bonus track “Return of Space Bear” is the song Space Bear but with lyrics.
Every song on the album is repetitive and boring. Anyone who thinks that this is a good album has either smoked so much pot in the 1980’s that they are still wasted, or just brain washed by thinking that “Psycho Circus” by Kiss is one of their top 10 albums.
Listening to the album I had people coming over and asking “What is this crap?” That is all this album is you think with 11 years between albums he would have something good.
Don’t get me wrong, I thought Ace’s playing was unbelievable the last time he was in NYC on tour, but this album just doesn’t have anything worth buying on it.
THE GOOD
The artwork on the cover has a classic Ace feel and almost looks like it could have been part of a KISS album.
THE BAD
The songs, they are repetitive and rushed, there is only one good song and that is giving a lot of credit.
OVERALL
Don’t waste your time or money on it!
