Zenescope's Neverland Sells Out

Zenescope Entertainment is reporting that the #1 issue of their newest Grimm Fairy Tales spin-off entitled NEVERLAND has sold out through Diamond Comic Distributors. Zenescope has confirmed there are limited copies on hand directly through their shipping department and is encouraging retailers to contact David at Davef@zenescope.com in case they need to place re-orders.
Zenescope's Neverland series offers a dark and twisted re-imagining of the Peter Pan mythology where Pan has reshaped the realm of Neverland into the ultimate nightmare for any child unlucky enough to end up there. "This series takes the Peter Pan mythos and completely spins it into a horror and drama genre nothing at all like you'd expect or have seen before." said Zenescope Editor-in-Chief Ralph Tedesco, "Pan's the villain, a very disturbing and frightening one at that, and Hook plays the hero in our version. It's a series that has definitely shocked people and I mean that in a very good way. We're extremely proud of this title."

Neverland is written by Joe Brusha (Grimm Fairy Tales, Tales From Wonderland) with interior artwork by Jean Paul DeShong (Grimm Fairy Tales) and Jason Embury (Sinbad, Inferno). Artists providing cover illustration for the series include Dave Finch, Sean Chen, Al Rio, Nei Ruffino and more.
