Zenoscope should have a hit with Stingers.
Take a bounty hunter who is looking to get out of the business, add a female police officer in a small town, then add some out of this world alien bugs, and you have Stingers.
Hawk wants to retire as a bail bonds recovery agent, but takes one last job. An easy job. He just has to head out and collect two fugitives that are hiding out in a small town.
On the other side of the town is Sherriff of a small town who looks like she spends most of her time dealing with the local drunks.
Hiding out in the town are Zack Miller and Stephen Smith, two fugitives that skiiped out on bail and don’t want to do jail time. Hawk needs to go out and pick them up, but will he make it before the killer insect aliens.
The story is a good read and it looks like this series should be a good seller. The art is well done and the story keeps you entertained. If you are looking for a comic that has something new then pick it up.
Cover Art: 3.5 – The heroes look like they are just shooting and not at any thing.
Art: 3.5 – There are a couple of frames where the two characters do not look like they are looking at the same object or the towards the other person.
Story: 4 – The story is unique and in these day that is hard to come by.
