Zenoscope expands their universe and Salem’s Daughter is one of my favorite new titles and is keeping me waiting for the next issue. They give you a quick history lesson while they entertain you. No the whole story is not fact, but Zenoscope does a good job in combining fact and science fiction.
Salem Massachusetts, 1692, The Salem witch trials are heating up and 19 women and men will lose their lives after being convicted of being witches.
Anna is a practicing witch, and with help from her friend Braden who is seriously injured to start the story. But lets go back several days to see how this happens
Using her powers Anna sees the wrong doing and the head up to try and prevent a murder, being late they end up facing a nest of female vampires.
The story line is unique and is a great read, it is one of my favorite new comics. The story is already good, and it looks like it will only get better and better.
The art has that Zenoscope style where they add just enough blood, sex, and guns. They have just enough of the three and don’t go too far with any of them.
Cover Art: 4 = The wrap around cover just makes the issue stand out, especially when you open it up.
