Obama, Clinton, Kennedy, & Palin Join Forces in "Female Force" Graphic Novel

OBAMA, CLINTON, KENNEDY & PALIN JOIN FORCES IN "FEMALE FORCE" GRAPHIC NOVEL

Following successful launch of the Female Force biography comic series, Bluewater Productions announced the release of a graphic novel collection containing the first four issues.

Female Force: Volume I, scheduled for release September30th, includes the unabridged issues featuring Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, Michelle Obama, and Caroline Kennedy. It also includes a forward written by Debbie Walsh, the director of the Center for American Women and Politics.

“We have seen there is a considerable market for this type of comic,” said Bluewater president Darren Davis, “We believe this issue of collected life stories will be the first of many volumes.”

Davis noted the multiple printings for the Clinton, Palin and Obama issues and the continued buzz created by the upcoming Caroline Kennedy, Princess Diana, JK Rowling, Condoleeza Rice and Oprah Winfrey titles.

A new cover by artist Vinnie Tartamella, who has been responsible for many of the individual issue cover likenesses, features all four women.

Female Force offers a broad examination of strong and influential women who are shaping modern history and culture. Each woman featured in the trade paperback will include alternate cover drawings.

The comic book series, launched earlier this year, has drawn considerable media attention, including features on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and “Live with Regis and Kelly.” It has also been featured in such periodicals as People Magazine, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, USA Today and thousands of blogs and other media outlets.

The suggested retail price (SRP) for the upcoming trade paperback is $15.99.
