Caroline Kennedy daughter of John F. Kennedy the 35th President of the United States of America and Jackie O. is the latest subject of Bluewater Comics Female Force comics, and they did a good job of staying to the facts and keeping the comic to a reasonable size.

The story is full of hard times, it starts with Caroline as a child and talks about the assassination of her father and how she was told by her nanny against her mother’s wishes. It talks about her brother and how he lost his life in a private plane crash. It also mentions about her brother Patrick.

There were also good times like when Caroline would ride her pony Macaroni and how Neil Diamond’s song “Sweet Caroline” was written about her.

Despite trying to be a private person in the public eye Caroline has had a hard but yet a good life and the story cover most aspects of her life.

There are some funny parts to the book like when Writer Neal Bailey makes a couple of appperances, or admits how he never got to know Caroline personally. But I like his second appearance when Neil talks about the tabloid stories of Caroline’s children and that if you want to read about them in Bluewater Comics you need to wait for them to become “Brilliant Members of Society.”

GOOD
The writer admits to “not knowing her and that it is a point of empathy, and what bugs me personally as I chronicle her story”. That being said Neal did a great job fact checking and getting the correct dates and timelines into the story.

THE BAD
The artwork needs a little improvement. There are some really good frames and others that you look at and know that it needs work, like the frame where Caroline is sitting in a car looking out the window and it looks like she has the mumps.

OVERALL
If you are a history or political buff the book is a must have, but if you just want something that will be in your collection and people will go wow this is a different book then grab a copy. Bluewater did a great job with the story accuracy.
